Very original and dynamic self portrait, the colour scheme and flow of the interacting elements are in particular great. I'd say this was a good experiment in composition, too, as everything comes together nicely with a visible central visual point for the piece.

Thanks, yeah I played around with the symmetrical layout for a bit on this one. I remember that at one point there was even a retro-bamboo design around the outside to frame it but that started to result in a very clunky and cluttered image so I stripped it back to a bit more of an organised jumble of elements. The overall idea was always to arrive at something akin to a polynesian tarot card look in my own illustrative style.

I do see how a bamboo design would work, but I think you made a good decision - this more streamlined version works best.
I enjoy seeing modern, individualised versions of interesting classic sources such as the tarot card, so this was very eye-catching.
