Hi there, I am an Information Graphics Artist for TVNZ News in New Zealand. Therefore I spend most of my time working on motion graphics for television instead of working on my own personal little illustrative projects. [link]
I have joined Deviant Art to try and motivate myself into creating more of the cartoon style stuff I used to draw when I was a kid and improve those skills which have definately faded over time.
I am constantly struggling to find a balance between all the different artisitc styles and mediums that influence me and all the ideas brimming around in my head; and it's always rewarding when things come together nicely. (Not so good when they don't.) I need all the help I can get so I am very happy to accept advice and critiques, even harsh ones.

When I'm doing none of these more productive arty activities I can generally be found hanging out with my sidekick and best friend, Babs - together we take on the world in the hopes of finding purpose, love, friends, tiki bars and collectible pop culture items to decorate our apartment with.

You've got a really cool gallery full of expressive illustrative work and lots of attitude. I hope I can figure out a way to inject that kind of energy into my own drawing style, really make the pics come alive. Keep up the inspiring work dude.
